Whatever your reasons, you won't be plagued with questions such as, "How can I get my KRA email address after losing it?" anymore because this article will give you all the possible ways you can do that.

The ‘KRA email address’ is simply a personal email address one uses to register for the KRA PIN for the first time via the iTax Portal.
It can either be Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook or any of the several mail clients in the market.
Typically, most new taxpayers from the late 2000s onwards would register for an iTax at about 18 years of age when they completed their secondary school education.
All existing taxpayers after the formal launch of iTax in 2014 needed to create iTax accounts which needed a unique email address.
It thus comes as no surprise that the emails used by either the 18-year-old or the older taxpayers over time were either forgotten, abandoned or login credentials forgotten.
It may be difficult to gain access to your KRA iTax Web Portal account if you do not have a KRA email address.
The email addresses in the KRA iTax Portal serve three important objectives, according to the iTax Portal. They include:
The default function of all email addresses used on the KRA iTax Portal is to provide the KRA PIN Certificate document and the iTax First Time Login Password. When you register for a KRA PIN, your password and a copy of your KRA PIN Certificate will be sent to your KRA Email Address. In this case, the KRA Domestic Taxes Department (DTD) would require you to sign in with your email address in order to have access to these two critical parts
Email Addresses are also regularly used to change iTax Passwords. This process is usually referred to as "Reset iTax Password." If you've forgotten your KRA iTax password, you'll need to know the email address you used to set your KRA PIN. This is due to the fact that your email address will be used to generate the new password.
Email Addresses are also beneficial for receiving KRA OTP “One-Time Password” Codes. The KRA OTP, a basic four-digit code, is used by iTax Portal to confirm a taxpayer's email address. These Codes are frequently required while updating an existing email address in your KRA iTax Account or registering for a KRA PIN.
