
The Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced 212 vacancies targeting Kenyans seeking permanent and pensionable job opportunities.
In a notice dated Tuesday, October 28, the authority is seeking to hire 53 drivers, 54 office administrators, 22 claims management officers, 15 customer experience officers,
Also set to be recruited are registration compliance officers, supply chain management officers, registration and compliance officers, benefits management officers, corporate communication officers, and fund management officers.
SHA also announced a vacant position for a legal officer, ICT officer, planning and linkages officer and internal auditor.
Equally, the authority re-advertised jobs for 6 principal claims management officers, Assistant Director for claims management and an Assistant Director for Corporate communication.
Different jobs have different qualifications. For instance, those seeking office administrator jobs need to have a Bachelor’s degree in either Secretarial Studies; Business and Office Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;.
The role of the office assitants will include taking oral dictation, using e-office to research and process data, operating office equipment and attending to visitors and client.
On the hand, those seeking to land the driver jobs need to have at least three years of work experience and have attained a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean Grade D plain.
Applicants need to have a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a cover letter demonstrating suitability for the position, and contacts of at least three professional referees.
SHA noted that applicants would be required to provide the following documents: Certificate of Good Conduct from the DCI, Tax Compliance Certificate from the KRA, HELB Clearance Certificate, EACC Clearance Certificate, and a report from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
All the applications should be addressed to the Chairperson of the Social Health Authority (SHA).
Applications can be submitted online on recruitment.sha.go.ke or physically delivered to SHA building 10th floor by clearly marking the position applied for on the envelope.
The deadline for the applications is November 18 at 5 pm.
