Safaricom Home Fibre customers can purchase Family Share bundles that allow them to share mobile data, voice minutes or both with up to five other mobile numbers.
The service offers different packages depending on how much a household is willing to spend, with customers able to choose data-only plans, minutes-only plans or a combination of the two.
The bundles are available to customers on active Safaricom Home Fibre Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Platinum plans. They are valid for 30 days and automatically renew alongside the Home Fibre plan after the validity period expires.

Safaricom Family Share is an add-on to Home Fibre that provides discounted combinations of mobile data and voice minutes that customers can share with other numbers.
Instead of purchasing separate bundles for each household member, the Home Fibre customer can buy a Family Share plan and allocate data, minutes or both to selected beneficiaries.
Customers can share data only, minutes only, or both data and minutes with up to five beneficiary numbers. They can also set limits on the resources allocated to each beneficiary or share them without a limit.
Safaricom offers data-only and minutes-only options at different prices.
For data bundles, customers can pay Ksh250 for 2.5GB, Ksh500 for 7GB, Ksh750 for 14GB, Ksh1,000 for 21GB or Ksh1,500 for 33GB.
For voice minutes, the available options include 350 minutes for Ksh300, 550 minutes for Ksh500, 800 minutes for Ksh750, 1,100 minutes for Ksh1,000 and 1,600 minutes for Ksh1,500.

Yes. Family Share bundles automatically renew after the 30-day validity period, together with the customer's Safaricom Home Fibre plan.
Customers should therefore keep track of their subscription if they do not wish to continue with the same bundle.
Unused Family Share data and minutes do not roll over to the next subscription period. Any remaining resources expire at 23:59 on the 30th day of the bundle's validity period. Customers should monitor their usage to avoid losing unused allocations.
