The Office of the Auditor General has announced 195 job vacancies with available positions including auditors, legal officers, drivers, and office assistants.
In a notice published on Tuesday, September 30, OAG announced mass recruitment of 150 audit associates.
The institution is also seeking to recruit 15 drivers, 10 office assistants, 2 communication officers, and a Deputy Auditor General.
During the application, potential candidates are required to fill out an application Form clearly indicating the post applied for, the full name of the applicant, the National ID Card No, phone number, and email address.
The other details required include academic and professional certificates, Curriculum Vitae (CV), and testimonials.
Successful candidates will also be required to provide Clearance certificates from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Credit Reference Bureau (CRB), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
"Candidates applying for these positions should visit our website at www.oagkenya.go.ke for more detailed job descriptions and the procedure for applications. All applications must be emailed to the email address provided. No physical/paper applications will be accepted," read the notice in part.
The deadline for applications is October 15, 2025.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Service has announced 100 permanent job vacancies for drivers.
The drivers will be tasked with driving a motor vehicle as authorized, carrying out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical, and brake systems, maintaining the work tickets for the vehicles assigned, and maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle.
The basic salary for the jobs ranges between Ksh19,340 to Ksh24,470. The drivers will also get a house allowance (to be determined by the regions where they are employed. A commuter allowance of Ksh3,000 per month and a leave allowance of Ksh4,000 per year were listed among the benefits for the job.
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
i. A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean Grade of D plain.
ii. A Valid driving License free from any current endorsement for class (ES) of vehicle (s) an officer is required to drive;
iii. Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week at St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution;
iv. Passed Suitability Test Grade III.
v. Police Clearance Certificate.
vi. At least two (2) years of driving Experience.
Applicants who meet the above requirements should submit their application by filling in the Application for Employment Form PSC 2 (Revised 2016) available on the Public Service Commission of Kenya website (www.publicservice.go.ke).
