
The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced 678 job vacancies across various departments, inviting qualified and experienced Kenyans to apply for positions at its headquarters and campuses.
According to a notice published on Tuesday, October 6, Lecturer II (Nursing) had the highest number of vacancies, with 200 positions available, followed by Lecturer II (Clinical Medicine), which has 105 vacancies.
Other teaching opportunities include Lecturer II (Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine), with 20 vacancies; Lecturer II (Community Health), with 20 vacancies; Lecturer II (Health Records and Information Technology), with 20 vacancies; and Lecturer II (Radiography and Imaging), also with 20 vacancies.
KMTC is also recruiting 10 registered nurses, 5 registered clinical officers, and 5 medical laboratory technologists, among others.
Apart from the medical field, the college is also recruiting 15 administrative officers, 20 office assisant administers, 20 corporate communication assistants, 4 corporate communication officers, 20 records management assistants, among others.

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online through the official KMTC recruitment portal at http://recruit.kmtc.ac.ke/jobs.
Applicants should visit the portal to access the full job descriptions, academic qualifications, professional requirements and experience needed for each position from the KMTC website.
KMTC advised applicants to provide complete and accurate information in their applications, warning that failure to include required details could affect their applications.
According to the vacancy notice, successful candidates will be required to submit several clearance documents before receiving their appointment letters.

These include a KRA tax compliance clearance certificate, EACC clearance certificate, HELB clearance certificate, CRB clearance certificate and a Certificate of Good Conduct.
Shortlisted candidates will also be required to present original identification documents, academic and professional certificates, and academic transcripts during interviews.
The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, October 30, 2026.
