
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced 1,586 job vacancies across various ministries and technical training institutes across the country.
Among the advertised jobs are 586 entry-level job vacancies in various state departments, while the other 1,000 are teaching jobs.

In a notice on Tuesday, December 16, PSC advertised vacancies for 300 clerical officers and 150 office assistants at the Ministry of Public Service.
PSC is also recruiting 55 Lands Records Management Assistants and 20 land information officers who will be deployed to the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning.
Meanwhile, the Commission is also seeking 3 devolution officers to work at the state department for devolution.
Other positions to be filled at the Commission include human resource management officers (24), compliance audit officers, ethics and values officers, ICT officers, records management officers, and assistant public communication officers.

Applications need to be submitted by January 9, 2026, by 5 pm.

The Commission is also seeking to recruit 1,000 degree and diploma holders to become vocational and technical trainers in 248 institutions across the country.
In the recruitment exercise, PSC will hire 600 degree holders and 400 diploma holders.
For instance, in Nairobi, trainers will be deployed to Kabete National Polytechnic, Kamukunji Technical and Vocational College, Karen Technical Training Institute For The Deaf, Kasarani Technical and Vocational College, Kenya School of TVET, and the Kibra Technical and Vocational College, among others.
Interested and qualified persons are requested to submit their applications directly to the institutions where vacancies exist by filling out one PSC 2 (Revised 2016) application form.

The applicants are also required to attach copies of their National ID card, academic and professional certificates, transcripts, and any other testimonials.
