Fuliza has become one of the most widely used mobile overdraft services in Kenya, helping M-Pesa users complete transactions even when they do not have enough money in their wallets.
According to data released by NCBA Group in March 2026, Kenyans borrowed Ksh1.24 trillion through Fuliza in 2025, translating to about Ksh3.3 billion every day.
To check one’s Fuliza Limit, the individual needs to dial *334# and select Fuliza M-Pesa.

Safaricom says that the Fuliza limit of a user limit is based on their usage and the bank's assessment. The key factors include M-Pesa transaction activity, Fuliza repayment history, CRB status and repayment history for other mobile loans, including Okoa Jahazi
The better your repayment and usage record, the higher your chances of qualifying for a larger limit.
To improve your chances of getting a higher limit, one should use M-Pesa services regularly, repay Fuliza on time, and maintain a good repayment history on other mobile loans
Customers who have been on the Safaricom network for less than six months receive a zero limit until they build enough usage history.

Fuliza can be used to send money or pay for goods and services through Pay Bill, Buy Goods, among other services. You can also withdraw cash from an M-Pesa agent using Fuliza.
There is no fixed number of times you can use Fuliza. You can use it as many times as you need, provided the total overdraft remains within your allocated limit.
Repayment for Fuliza is automatic. Any money deposited into or received in your M-PESA account is first used to clear the outstanding Fuliza balance.
If the balance remains unpaid for 30 days, you will temporarily lose access to your Fuliza limit until the overdraft is fully repaid.
